Services: My work includes event photography, companion animals and their people, small business owners, and advertising.
Prints: Clients who are looking for archival quality prints may be interested to read the following.
From image capture through delivery I retain as much control as possible over the art work in order to produce the best possible result. Yes, there is indeed a world of difference between a low resolution cell phone image and a professional working with years of experience and professional equipment to produce a stunning image. I also believe that, just as much as I am a photographer who is continually working to improve my craft, the process of printing an image is best left to a professional print shop. I use a local Asheville printer with whom I have a close working relationship. The third link is having someone with the skill and knowledge to produce high quality, archival mats that finish the print in a pleasing way. Although not required, I encourage clients to allow me to have the prints matted.
Framing is usually best left to the customer’s framer. With the finished matted print you know best what the frame should look like to meet your expectations and match your decor.
All prints are custom made on an Epson SureColor P9000 Commercial Printer using 200 year archival inks (400 for black and white.) They are proofed as many times as necessary before I accept them.
Shipping and packaging is handled by UPS, unless of course you are local. There is a slight markup on S&H. Print costs are separate from the session fee.
